Business/Law Exchange

In 2007, the U of A’s Eller College of Management and James E. Rogers College of Law formed the Business/Law Exchange (BLX), an experiential education initiative designed to build mutual knowledge around legal issues in business, especially at the intersection of law and entrepreneurship.

Understanding the interplay of business and law is critical to success in any economy, and especially so in an environment of open innovation. Intellectual property, investor responsibilities, business structure, marketing all hold legal challenges that can make or break an enterprise.

BLX brings together entrepreneurs, practicing lawyers, legal scholars, scientists, educators, tech transfer leaders, and others to develop a highly competitive skill set that sets UA law and business graduates apart from their peers across the country.
